Questions/Thoughts...

Sometimes I have random thoughts...maybe not just sometimes...more like...all the time. If anyone still reads my blog, you might find these thoughts/questions random and you might think, "who thinks that?"...well, I do!
*While Chloe was sick we watched Beauty and the Beast. It occurred to me that the Beast doesn't have a name...well he does, it's BEAST. But what does he go by when he turns into a human again? Belle can't very well call him Beast...Can she? So like what does she say, "I love you Beast!" That's just dumb!
*Why do we call long underwear "long johns"? Did a man named John invent the long underwear?
*Personally, I think the letter C, Q, X are a waste of the alphabet...we don't need them. For example...C makes the "K" and "S" sound...so why even have a c...we should just spell things like cat...Kat...it says the SAME sound or sereal instead of cereal. And Q...just add a KW...so instead of queen...Kween...it says the SAME sound (and why does q always have to be accompanied by a u anyways)? As for the letter X...it says the z and K sound....so instead of xerox...why not zeroks (no c cause we don't need it). I know some might say well what about the "CH" sound...well....we why can't KH make the same sound? It's just cause we are so used to these rules that it wouldn't be right not to use them...but really...think about it...why don't we just spell things the way they sound...it would make teaching kids how to read and write soo much easier.
---I often laugh that my daughters' name is Chloe because the spelling of it is soo not the way it sounds.
*Why is TV so bad now?? I mean when I was younger I remember my mom barely letting us watch Saved by the Bell or Step by Step...and honestly, Tricia watches Saved by the Bell every morning before work and their biggest problem was having a drink and driving home. I mean Zack and Kelly never did anything more but a little peck on the lips...they never even passionately kissed...Oh how I miss those days of comfortable TV watching and not having to worry about something getting too uncomfortable.
*This next comment might offend some but I don't mean it to offend...just my own personal opinion...I am not a huge fan of people boasting about how "hot" their husband is...I know you think your hubby is hot...that's why you married him...well one of the reasons...I'm sure there is more to him that his looks. It just takes me back to high school days, "Ohh! He's sooo HOt!" haha...I guess I'm just old fashioned and prefer to use handsome...he's a man...men are handsome.
*2 is my lucky number but 22 is my favorite because it has 2 2's and so it's extra lucky.
*I don't like Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan...she's too cool for school...to hard core...I could have been a better Bella. Too bad I can't act and I would probably laugh through all of it...but eh...I still think I could have portrayed the character more accurately.
*As I was reading Harry Potter I realized that there are soo many characters in that book...one night I couldn't fall asleep and so I decided to play a mind game with myself and go through my ABC's and with each letter I would name a HP character....comes out that there is like only 1 or 2 letters in the alphabet without a character. (Surprisingly it helped me fall asleep and I would have to start over the next night on the letter I left off on).
*I have a confession to make...I have always secretly wanted to be an actress, a part of Hollywood...walking down the red carpet at the Golden Globes or Oscars and if not to make it big I always wanted to be on Disney Channel when I was younger.
*I love to think of future babies names, whenever I hear or come across a name I always be sure to make a mental note. As of late I have been hearing too many names that are too far out there. It seems everyone is trying to outname...don't get me wrong I love names that are a little uncommon, a little unique and fun but there comes a point when too much is too much. With this realization I have had an epiphany within my thoughts...I like names a little old fashioned and more on the common side...because they are becoming the uncommon! (side note: I really don't judge when people name their kids...it's their choice and I know that's what they were inspired to do).

I have so many other randoms but I'm going to save those for another rainy day!

I have random thoughts like this going through my head all the time. I have thought the same thing about the leter "c" lately. Especially because I'm teaching Ana her letter sounds. Its way too confusing. I also like to think about future baby names but its seems like most people don't. So I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. And I also like more common names.

Hola! I just found your blog, and I freaking love it. Ha. So sad, sitting here on a Saturday night blog stalking, but I thought you should know. I totally agree with everything you said, esp. about the letters. Poor Phoebe, she is gonna get real confused.
