Elise Capener tagged me and since I'm in the writing mood these days..Here are the questions that she asked me, and then after, I will "tag" people with different questions:
1. Do you have a go-to meal that you cook because it's either easy, tasty or you've grown up eating it? If you know the recipe by heart, please share! I love to cook italian chicken...it's super easy and so delicious
I think the recipe goes like this...In a crockpot
-3tbsp butter cut up
-desired amount of boneless skinless chicken breast
-Italian seasoning
-1/4 cup water
---Let cook in crock pot until chicken done---
-take chicken out and put on a plate
-IN crock pot add can of cream of chicken soup and 8 oz cream cheese. Mix until smooth.
-Put chicken back in and mix (it's ok if chicken shreds)
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
2. Are you a thinker or feeler? Explain. I would say I'm both. I tend to over analyze situations but I also tend to let my emotions get the best of me. For example, if I were to be making a big decision like a career opportunity I would really think about the ups and downs but in the end I would go with what I FEEL most comfortable doing.
3. You're stuck on an island by yourself, what would you bring with you to keep you company? I would bring Michael and Chloe of course...but then I wouldn't be by myself...but they are my whole world, my home, my family! I would need them and we would entertain ourselves!
4. Do you already have baby names picked out even though you may not even be close to having babies? AND did you start brainstorming baby names when you were young? Do you remember them? I am going to answer this question a little out of order and it will probably be long. I have always been the one who was thinking of baby names...I used to make lists for boys and girls...but I am constantly changing my mind about what I like, what fits...then I realized I make lists because I don't want to pick out my babies names before they are born. I wanted to meet them first, see what they look like and see what fits as I hold my newborn baby. I mean honestly when I found out Chloe was a girl she was going to be named so many different things...each month it was something new (Samantha, Kennedy, Mia, Sophie, Brooklyn, Ava, Elsie, Vienna, Sage, Colette, Hailey, Hadley, Olivia, Paige and Chloe was on the list but it was always just on the list...never really a FRONT runner...one we both loved but it was just sort of forgotten...BUT when D-day finally got here we realized we were really only interested in about 5 names and in THIS order (Brooklyn Jane...going into labor I was 99 % sure this was IT, Elsie Kate, Kennedy Jane, Samantha Grace, Chloe Jane). When Chloe was born Michael took one look at her and could only remember Chloe Jane. I wanted to hold her and see for myself...I held her called her Brooklyn...nope, Kennedy...definitely no, and Elsie...no way...Chloe...ahh it fit so perfect. So back to my list making days...I was cleaning out one of my drawers and found 5...you heard right...5 baby name lists that I made when I was dating Michael, first married to him and over the years...and guess which name appears 1st on ALL of them...CHLOE...haha. I didn't even realize I loved that name so much until after my child was born.
5. What's your favorite fast-food chain and why? hmm...I don't really have one...I guess Taco Bell cause they have yummy limeade and Baja Blast and even though the food isn't very good, it's ok and their chicken burrito is pretty good and somewhat healthy. I know most would be shocked I didn't say In and Out but it's the ONLY food that made me sick when I was preggo...I only ate it twice and both times were not a success...let's just say, I only got "sick" twice.
6. If you could go back in time, what time period would you choose and why? 50's...I was born to be a housewife and homemaker I love the simplicity of life...kids could play out front, ride bikes, roam neighborhoods without the fear of crime or criminals...people still had morals and values...I like "old school".
7. What's an instrument you're interested in learning to play? If any at all? I would like to play the piano. I know it's such a basic instrument but imagine family home evenings, Christmas songs, Sunday mornings and afternoons with your family surrounding you and enjoying music together...so fun right?
8. Pretend your Elizabeth Gilbert in Eat, Pray, Love.. where would you go and why? I didn't see the movie or read the book so I think I get the question. I would go to Salzburg,Austria to see where they filmed the Sound of Music...then Greece because I think it's beautiful and have always wanted to go, then Italy (for the food of course), Paris for the fun and Ireland for the accents.
Okay so now I get to call out some peeps to join in on the fun. NO pressure to follow through...but isn't it fun to waste time? I think so! I tag...
*Jacki Bracken (cause your my bestie and I know you would do it...but no pressure)
*Becky Bunting (cause I know you read my blog)
*Jennifer Keller (cause you NEED to update your blog with Something/ANYTHING)
*Brittany Holiday
*Kristin Tobler
*Kristen Gough
And to you last 3 all I have to say is AZOOGA...too bad Kimmie and Tara don't have blogs.
---Is that too many people to tag?... well chances are not everyone will want to do it...and that's totally ok!
My questions are...
1. What is the one household chore you can't stand to do and put off the most? Why?
2. If you could choose any celebrity to be your best friend who would it be and why?
3. What's your favorite memory of us?
4. Who is your biggest role model? Why?
5. What TV show do you watch (guilty pleasure) that you would be embarrassed to admit? What do you like about it?

Thanks for playing! it's always fun to get to know people better through their writing.
Sorry to be lame and post this as a comment. I am so far behind on my own blog but didn't want to leave you hanging. So my answers are:
1. What is the one household chore you can't stand to do and put off the most? Why? Just one? Ever since we bought a house I can’t keep up with any of them!! Laundry piles up, dishes overflow in the sink, forget vacuuming and toilet scrubbing. If I had to pick just one, I would say dishes, yuck!!
2. If you could choose any celebrity to be your best friend who would it be and why? Kelly Ripa. If she would let me share her clothes…her style is exactly mine and I love everything she wears!! She is so cute and peppy and I think she would be SO much fun to hang out with
3. What's your favorite memory of us? Watching the NSYNC movie at your house. I will never forget that
4. Who is your biggest role model? Why? My Dad. Since I was a little girl I always wanted to be just like my Daddy, he is one of the best men I know.
5. What TV show do you watch (guilty pleasure) that you would be embarrassed to admit? What do you like about it? Vampire Diaries. I am pretty sure it is just intended for teenagers but I love it!! The hot guys is why I like it
6. What is something I don't know about you? (or most people)? I’m pretty sure you know me well ;)
7. What is your favorite children's book? Adult book? why? I love The Giving Tree. It is great for adults and kids and it has such a sweet message.
8. What is one thing you can't live without? My family and a great pair of shoes.
