A "Wicked" Birthday!

This past weekend I celebrated my "golden" birthday with Michael! Friday night Michael told me that I had to be ready and in my swim suit Saturday morning at 10am. I had no idea what he was planning...all I knew was that he told me it would be an all day celebration. I woke up Saturday morning and he jumped on the bed and said that our "appointment" for 10am was cancelled...I was a little befuddled by this and asked him why? He said because their has been a change in plans! Turns out my sneaky cute adorable husband bought tickets for Wicked! I was so pleasantly suprised and so excited! I have never been to Hollywood let alone a Broadway show. Before our day in Hollywood started we opened presents...I was not disappointed! Did some returns...fixed my cell phone in between (can't believe it already broke on me...I just got it like 1 month ago!) and then to my mom's for swimming with the fam!! We left there around 3 to go home and get ready! Once we got into Hollywood it was so different than I had imagined. My dad never let me go there when I was younger...ok...even when I was in college...he always said, "it is not a nice place for little girls and their friends to be roaming around in". I never believed it would be that bad! Turns out I was a little scared! There were some seriously weird people but not to worry I wasn't that scared with Michael close by my side. We did all the site seeing possible and went out for a luxurious dinner at McDonalds! Haha...I guess the real treat was Wicked! Once we got to the Pantages we marveled at how beautiful the theatre was! It was breath taking. Once the show started I was all smiles...I couldn't get enough of the music, talent and story! It was a perfect day with the perfect person! Thanks Michael for taking me! I LOVED IT!

Here are a few of the many pics we took!
