"Baby It's Cold, Outside"

For those of you who don't live in Orange County right now...I would like to update you on the weather. I am happy to tell you that this is probably one of the chiliest winters I have had here. I don't know if it's because I lived in Rexburg, Idaho for 5 years and when I would come home the "sun" would feel good or if it really is colder than normal. I love that it makes the Holiday season more cozy and festive. I have enjoyed wearing my christmas pj's and warm fuzzy socks while cozy in bed listening to Carpenters Christmas music and sipping on hot chocolate. The cold weather has helped me snap out of my "Christmas Blues". It's official...Christmas is coming. I am so excited to share this wonderful time with family and friends. I love all the smiles and warm welcomings that people share with one another during this time of year. I love the traditions, the food, the lights, the smells, the trees, the stockings hung by the fireplace...or off the bar by the kitchen in Michael and my case. It will even feel more like Christmas when Michael and I bring our Christmas tree home! I still hope and pray that it fits. YIKES!
