Michael and I went to see "The Golden Compass" last night. I really liked it!. One of my favorite movie genres is fantasy. I love to see a new world and to be able to escape into an unreal life. I must admit, I was a little scared for this movie. To me there is a fine line between a good fantasy movie and a really lame fantasy movie (one that is too over the top or not detailed enough). I was not sure what to expect but I will admit I was pleasantly suprised. The movie kept me interested the entire time. In the middle of the movie I had to use the restroom soo bad but I refused because I didn't want to miss anything important. I highly recommend this movie to everyone...it may be too intense for some little kids. Go see it and let me know what you think!
