I almost forgot...

With all the craziness of last week I almost forgot to give a Happy 18 month shout out to my Chloe Jane. These last 18 months have been some of the most joyful and happy times. She has changed my life for the better and continues to teach me new things every day. Most of all I'm amazed at how much she already knows and each day continues to learn. Here are some things I want to remember from this fun age.
*She talks a ton her words (momma, daddy, baby, ball, water, milk, food, egg, movie, boo, kitty, doggy, stroller, bath, teeth, no, ok, yeah, please, thank you, stinky, oh no, uh oh, bubbles, slide, outside, blankie, softy, fafa (pacifier), nigh night, book, hot, Anna, son (Madison), Momma (grandma), Papa (grandpa), Ste (Steven), Tricia, Dadis (Davis), guys, cheese, apple, nana (banana), Key, car, Lets go!, shoes, nack (snack), Nee (candy), high chair, pillow, hi, hello, bye bye, see ya, bird, hair, bow, love you, choo choo (train), tree, bird, see, cracker, cookie, berry (strawberry), bite, five (high five), two (the only number she says, everything is 2), block, fish, potty, nice, wipes, on, out, off, go...I'm sure there is soo many more. She's always talking and I can understand most of what she is saying.
*Oh yeah, she says fork but forgets the "R" so she pretty much is saying the f word. We cant help but laugh but at the same time Michael is trying to have her just say spoon for the time being...so if you hear my child say the f word just know it's fork.
*She is down to 1 nap a day. Usually after lunch.
*She is old enough to enjoy things like the park, beach, pool, movies, tv and things like that. Her favorite activity at the park is the slides, the beach she loves to chase birds, her favorite movie I think has changed from Monsters inc to Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer (thank you Netflix...I loved Rainbow Brite when I was younger and C can't get enough of it either) and her favorite tv show is probably either Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse Club house or Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
*She likes to sit on the potty before her bath...although she NEVER goes. It's good practice.
*SHe is the friendliest baby ever. We were at the church distribution center and this old man walked in, she ran straight up to him and said, HI!! And gave him a pat on his leg. Then a woman walked in and she did the same thing. She does this everywhere we go. It's kind of funny but I will definitely have to teach her about stranger danger.
*She is obsessed with her baby doll, I think we take her almost everywhere we go. She is also obsessed with her new baby cousin, Juliet. She is constantly trying to kiss her, hug her, hold her, and give her "Fives". Yikes. She tries to be soft but eventually her "soft" becomes a little harder and harder with each touch. It's a work in progress.
*She had her first experience in the nursery on the 20th. She did great the first hour and then I think something happened (like a kid took a toy) and she fell apart asking for daddy. The nursery leaders took her straight to us without trying to sooth her...so next time if she falls apart, keep her for 20 mins, try to distract or if anything offer her a snack...she'll calm right down. But she lasted an hour and that's pretty honorable for a 1st timer. (Side Note: I had to keep it together when I dropped her off...I couldn't believe she was already this big and already so independent. What am I going to do when she goes to Kindergarten? Aye yi yi).

Chloe is the light of our lives. She really is constantly spreading happiness all around. She is constantly laughing and smiling. I love this little babe soo much.
