Magnificent Weekend!

It is not very often for Michael to have his Saturday's off but now that he has been moved from the airport to Fletcher Jones he gets 2 Saturdays off a month and all his Sunday's...HURRAY!!! We took full advantage of his time off and had a blast this weekend!! Saturday morning we slept in and did a little cleaning around the apartment. We took our time getting ready for the day and started it off right with a little shopping. We both were in need of some items and found ourselves at the MIssion Veijo Mall. When we were done spending our money we met up with the family at my mom's house for some lunch and swimming. The weather has been so hot and muggy but the water was FREEZING ?!? I decided to stick with Anna in the semi-heated spa. I know...I am a wimp!! Well then Michael and I headed out to run some small and simple errands. When we were all finished we thought it would be fun to go to Disneyland and do a few rides and watch Fantasmic...we've been meaning to go forever but haven't gotten around to it yet. We got dressed and headed out. We have to admit that this was one of our most fun times at Disneyland. We started the night off right with no line and jumping right onto Buzz! We then ventured around to find something new...we decided to take up the shooting range by the Golden Horse Shoe...Michael was amazing and I naturally struggled!
Then it was off to Pirates and Tarzan Tree house...just for the heck of it! The crowds were getting a little bit more crazy so we headed over to California Adventure...the park was nearly empty. We waited 10 minutes for the rollercoaster and then thought it would be so fun to try out the new Toy Story ride...it was only a 20 minute wait...and worth every second. IT was amazing!! Just imagine...two very fun and competitive people trying to beat the other in a 3D game...it was halarious!! If you haven't tried it yet...do it!! After that we grabbed some food and headed over to Fantasmic...Unfortunatley we were too late...there was NO where to sit! We were totally bummed but will be returning this week!! We have it all planned out...blankets...dinner and a card game while we wait!! Who is in? The night didn't end there we walked around for a bit more....did some more shopping and then headed to 711 around the block for our traditional Slurpee!! YUMMY! We came home late but decided to watch Batman Begins just to get us pumped for this coming weekend!! I love it when Michael is home and I love spending time with him...he's my best friend and I have so much fun with him!!
