Rodriguez House Guest

My mom has been babysitting the Keller girls since Wednesday...while she was gone my brothers noticed some small pellets of poop in the Rodriguez house. They notified my mom right away with suspicions of a rat or mouse. My mom came home to investigate the intruders droppings...they were far too big to have belonged to a mouse or rat....they were round. She told them it looked more like rabbit poop. They searched the whole house and couldn't find a trace of an animal...They vacuumed...cleaned and searched every dark corner...nothing was there. They put out some mouse traps just to be safe. Today Steven came home from church and to his surprise found a rabbit on our end table next to our couch. He could not believe it. "I had to show it who was boss!" he began to tell me..."So I threw a shoe at him." Poor rabbit had a broken leg after this...but it was Steven's only defense..."I can't pick up a wild bunny!" He chased the rabbit around the house trying to get outside when finally Aaron joined in the catch...he put on a glove and grabbed the rabbit...took it outside to set it free...in a less than humane way...he tossed it! SAD!!! Although rabbits tend to be "cute" we are glad to have this house guest gone...he wasn't very polite by not cleaning up after himself. Moral of the story is...keep your doors shut at all times...next time it could be something really scary...like a snake!
