So this Thanksgiving was amazingly fun! We started out with our very own Rodriguez family Turkey Trot around Soka University. It was hard...yet so fun! My mom had these T-shirts made for us. They had a poem written on them that my dad made up. They were orignially for our "Turkey Bowl" football game...but we decided to sport them all day!! After our run we went out for a quick bagel breakfast...yummy! It was so good and just what I needed!

After that we went and did our annual "Turkey Bowl" football game. I was originally on the army green "young buck rookie team" but some one from the "old veterans team" decided not to show up...so..I got recruted to the burnt orange team. I wasn't very happy...for one reason and one reason only...I knew the young team would win. I am very competitive and wanted a win! But to my suprise us old married folk played a pretty good, close and intense game. Kim practically broke a rib just to block the ball from Aaron. Now that's what I call a competition. I even made one amazing catch half way up the field...to bad Tricia was right behind me with two hands...dang! I could have run for a touch down...Yeah right!

After our game we all went home to shower and get cleaned up. The rest of the day was hanging out and playing games...and of course Turkey dinner! This is my favorite time...not because of the food but because we each get a chance to say what we are thankful for. It was an emotional and heart warming moment. I am truley thankful for my husband and for all he does. He works so hard for us and is so patient and loving towards me. He does so much for me it's kind of ridiculous...I am always his first priority and that means so much to me. I am also so thankful for family and the chance we have to live so close to each other...I love it! I have the best family in the world...even my brother-in-law and sister-in-law are the most amazing people ever! It's a blessing to have wonderful eternal friends!!
