Harry Potter

My sister and I are huge Harry Potter fans. Kind of obsessive if you ask me. We had this grand idea of having a huge Harry Potter party when Aaron got home...well the days ran away from us quickly once he got home and Thursday afternoon we figured we better get on it. With the help of my SIL Kim (who is amazing and super creative) we all 3 pulled it together in about an hour. It was a hit and soo much fun. I havent laughed so hard in a super long time. So what did this Harry Potter party intail? Costumes were your ticket in door...no costume, no entry. English accents are necessary (even though Jenn, Kim and Curt were the only ones who did them consistently). And a good attitude...not all of my family is huge HP fans but we all had so much fun. Honestly...how awesome are these costumes for super last minute planning...I think they are awesome.
Lft-Rt: Professor Slughorn (Michael), Dementor (Todd), Hermione (Jennifer), Ronald Weasley (Aaron), Draco Malfoy (Chris), Harry Potter (Steven), Professor McGonagall (Tricia), Professor Trelawny (Michelle), Luna Lovegood (Kim), Professor Snape (Curtis).
We all had to be sorted into our houses/teams.Professor Snape NEVER broke Character. Although the whole evening Curt thought his name as Serious Snapes and only learned by watching the movie with subtitles that it was actually Severus Snape.Professor Slughorn...one of our favorite Characters...he's hilarious!
