Easter part dos...
Easter morning came way early this year. Usually Chloe sleeps till like 8 but she woke up early today. I think she knew something special was coming!! When she woke up we had a little lesson on why we celebrate Easter. When asked "What's Easter about?" we conditioned her to say "Jesus". Atta girl! After our little lesson it was off to find our Easter basket. Silly Easter bunny hid our baskets!
She found it inside her baby crib.

Now that's a smile you just can't fake. I love her!
The bunny brought: A coloring book, crayons, crayons for the bathtub, a chocolate bunny, Easter eggs filled with candy, and animal cookies. Yum!
My very wonderful, amazing, beautiful and talented mom made Easter dresses. Although I would have liked her to match her cousins this dress is so much more age appropriate and soo stinkin cute. I Love it. Chloe loves it (every time she sees it she says, "Oh so cute". Thanks mom.
Daddy and Chloe!

Michael and I put on an epic Easter egg hunt. 8 special eggs containing fun prizes including, paddle boards, silly puddy, headbands, bracelets, water guns and money (just a dollar...which according to Anna, just wasn't even enough)! Chloe had so much fun running around with her cousins and finding eggs filled with her favorite food, CANDY!
Daddy giving hints...
The girls...Madison, Claire, Anna and Chloe. We really missed our little boys. I know they had a fun Easter in Utah but something was definitely missing.
CANDY!!!!!!!
Such an emotional Easter as we reflect the true meaning of Easter and mourn the loss of a dear family friend. Our thoughts were definitely focused on our Savior, the Resurrection and the Blackwelder family.
