Michael and I went to Costa Mesa yesterday to find out a little bit early the sex of our baby! It turns out it looks like it's a GIRL!
I was really surprised because even though I really wanted a girl first (just to secure that I would have at least one) I always told myself this baby was a boy! I literally convinced myself that it was...I got myself excited for a boy...I had names and everything! Michael all the while knew it was a girl...totally convinced...never even studied out boy names or looked a boy clothing in a store! While getting our ultrasound he wasn't exactly sure what we were looking at and thought the babies leg might have been a boy part...but to my surprise I shouted...NO look..it's a girl...those lines! There are two legs and nothing in between but the lines! The ultrasound tech laughed and said, "yep, It looks like a girl". Of course I am only 14 weeks a long but we saw the baby girl parts 4 times and each of the 4 times it looked pretty clear! I guess we will have in confirmed in 6 weeks! I am still in shock and I am so unprepared! I have no girl names!!
Michael and I really feel so blessed to become parents! Watching the baby move like crazy in my tummy and seeing her flip, turn, yawn and stretch was the cutest thing ever! I love her already and after seeing her inside me made things even more real! I can't believe it! This is one of my most exciting moments ever!

YEAH!!!! I love you both so much and I am so happy for you! We are excited to meet our niece. Poor Grant and ?Dane? I wished I could give them a boy cousin.
YAY! Green light for bedazzled pacifiers!!! I would have guessed boy because of the wave of boys coming through the ward right now but looks like you are changing things up! Congrats!!!!
Hey there Michelle. This is Laura White, previously Packham if you don't remember me... I wanted to say CONGRATS! and having a girl is super fun! Its funny, because we were convinced it was a boy too, and so when we found out it was a girl we were in shock, like something was wrong! :) It was like a whole new pregnancy after that--you are probably experiencing that right now. I didn't know about names or anything either! Good luck with everything and congrats again! PS-I'm 18 weeks along now with baby #2!! Ya, we found out when Hannah was 6m that I was 2 months prego! We are excited though and we'll find out what this second one is on April 20th! We don't have any mindsets this time, but it would be nice to have a girl because we have so many girl clothes!!! :) Have fun!
Yeah! Congratulations! So exciting! She is going to be one spoiled little girl!
I can't believe you're having a girl! But I am so excited for you. You will have so much fun with her (I'm picturing lots of Disney princess stuff). And she will be adorable! Congratulations!

Yay! Michelle, I'm so excited for you! I didn't even know you were expecting until I saw what you put on FB! Little girls are sooo much fun! For some reason I thought I was having a boy too, I don't know we just assumed we would. But having Jane is awesome! Can't wait!
Congrats! Now the shoes can really be worn! She will fit right in with the cousins. I am sure Madison and Anna will have her dressed up like a princess in no time!
