Mall shooting in Mission Viejo

Yesterday evening as my family was getting Sunday dinner prepared, my brother Aaron called with news that there had been a shooting at Mission Viejo mall. One of his friends was at the mall and didn't have the complete story but thought that the shooter was locked inside with hostage's...fortunately his story was a little off. The shooter was robbing a jewelery store. The employees were acting stiff with their hands on the sides. Witnesses say the robber then ransacked the cases grabbing jewelry and ran. The police and all authorities confronted the man in a parking structure when the suspect open fired. Without hesitation the police fired back and shot the man. He was announced dead at the Mission Viejo hospital. Scary...as far as I know no one was hurt...I hope that still stands true! I am glad that everything turned out ok but still I set me back into reality. Although we live in a beautiful area with lots of good and nice people...things like this can always happen...no matter what and where you live!
