Weekend Fun!

Michael and I have had two really fun weekends. Last weekend while Michael was at work I went with my family to the spectrum. We had a fun time eating, shopping, visiting the pet shop and riding the carousel. We met up with Michael later in the afternoon and went to Curt and Kim's spa. It was nice to relax in and talk for a while. Then we all went to the BYU men's volleyball game. They did awesome and it was really exciting to be a part of college sports.

This weekend Michael and I went to Disneyland with our annual passes. We only stayed for a few hours but we enjoyed doing new things we've never enjoyed before. We spent some time in toon town and a lot of time on Buzz Lightyear's laser adventure ride...it's my favorite. I took him on the Haunted Mansion (he's never been) and to see the Abraham Lincoln tribute but so sad for us because they no longer have it running. I was seriously sad. Although it's not that popular my dad would always take us there so I guess I love it because it has some sentimental value. Then we were off to California Adventure. We spent most our time in the Animation building...drawing our own cartoons and then watching them...in the Beauty and the Beast library finding out which character we were most like and then putting our voices to cartoons. The best part about the animation building is getting the chance to learn how to draw famous Disney characters. We both learned how to draw amazing Mickey's. We were getting a bit tired after all this so our one last adventure was to "It's Tough to be a Bug". I LOVE THIS! I used to work on this attraction and I miss it. It was so fun watching the show as a visitor and revisiting my old stomping grounds!

Today is my mom's birthday, so we are all headed over there. Michael and I are going to make most of the dinner and clean the house for her before she gets home from Church. It's going to be fun!
